When I was still living on the west coast, it seemed that B.C. was the most expensive province to visit. I always received better prices and sometimes even a better exchange rate in Alberta, Saskatchewan, or the Yukon than I did in Vancouver or over on the island. Of course, it's the same in the USA too, look at the cost of gas in Seattle, Portland or San Francisco versus here in the southeast. Where the money tends to accumulate, the average consumer is going to get screwed.
